GO Makes a New Community Partner!

Green Oxford has recently partnered with InterFaith Climate Change Work Group (ICCWG) to show Green Screen. Green Screen presents films and videos about the science, art and spirituality of the natural environment. We aim to show films on the environment that educate, amuse, motivate and inspire.

Films are shown on the second Wednesday of each month at 7pm in the Oxford Community Arts Center (on the corner of College Ave and High St). All films are free.

The next Green Screen film will be on Wednesday, February 8th, 2012 and we will be showing The Cove.

If you have any questions about Green Screen, please contact Peyton (secretary@greenoxford.org) or Anne (vpinfotech@greenoxford.org).

Recap: Green Screen

The last Green Screen of the semester was Wednesday at the Oxford Community Arts Center! Gasland was a powerful presentation of the negatives effects fracking has on communities. Hydraulic fracturing is an extremely pertinent issue and will be coming to Ohio soon. Green Oxford will be facilitating more discussions on fracking soon. Green Screen starts again in February 2012! Stay tuned for more details!!!!
